Door Styles We Install

From classic raised-panel steel to full-view glass, we'll bring samples and photos so you can see options against your own house.

Traditional Steel

The Houston standard: durable, low-maintenance raised- or flush-panel steel in factory colors that shrug off sun and humidity. The value pick for most homes.

Carriage-House & Wood-Look

The charm of swing-out carriage doors with modern overhead operation — in real wood or, more practically for our climate, wood-grain steel and composite that never needs restaining.

Modern Glass & Aluminum

Full-view anodized aluminum frames with clear, frosted or tinted glass. A dramatic upgrade for contemporary builds and a favorite in Houston's newer infill neighborhoods.

Insulated Doors

Polystyrene or polyurethane cores that tame Houston summer heat in attached garages, quiet the door's operation, and stiffen the panels against dings.

Built for the Gulf Coast

Hurricane & Wind-Load Rated Doors

Here's the part most door shopping guides skip: your garage door is the largest opening in your home. In a hurricane, if that opening fails, wind enters the structure and pushes up on the roof from inside — which is how a lost garage door becomes a lost roof.

  • Engineered for wind. Wind-load rated doors use heavier gauge steel, reinforced struts and beefed-up track hardware designed to stay in the opening under pressure and debris impact.
  • Matched to your location's requirements. Wind-load requirements vary across the Houston area; we help you select a door rated appropriately for where you live and how big your opening is.
  • Worth a call to your insurer. Many carriers view a rated garage door favorably — ask yours whether an upgraded door affects your windstorm coverage.
  • Retrofit reinforcement exists too, but if you're buying a new door anyway, buying it wind-rated is the clean way to solve the problem once.

What Installation Day Looks Like

1

Measure & Quote

We measure the opening, headroom and side clearance, walk through styles and options, and give you one upfront quote — door, hardware, labor and haul-away together.

2

Remove the Old Door

The crew safely releases spring tension, takes down the old door and track, and protects the driveway and anything stored in the garage.

3

Install the New Door

New track, springs sized to the new door's weight, sections hung and aligned, opener connected and travel limits set. Most residential installs finish the same day they start.

4

Test, Clean Up and Haul Away

Balance and safety-reversal tests, a walkthrough of your new door and remotes — then the old door leaves on our truck, not your curb.

Repair or Replace?

We install a lot of doors, but we talk plenty of homeowners out of buying one too. If your current door's bones are good and the problem is a spring, an opener or a single dented section, a repair may serve you better — our guide to repair vs. replacement lays out how we make that call, and panel replacement covers the single-section option. When replacement is the right answer, we'll show you exactly why on-site.

We install everywhere we repair: master-planned communities in Katy, HOA-conscious neighborhoods in The Woodlands, established streets in Sugar Land, and the rest of the metro. HOA approval paperwork? We're used to it — we'll provide the spec sheets your review board asks for.
